When I grow up: a conversation between Willow and Katie

W: When I'm a big grownup i'll kind of go to Florida.
K: What will you do in Florida?
W: I would SLEEP there.
K:Oh.
W: when I grow up, I want to be a Mommy.
K: You do? Does it look like a fun job?
W: Yeah.
K: It is! First you'll get to grow up and be a wife.
W: NO, I'm gonna get married when I'm a TEENAGER.
K:(feigning calm) No, sweetie. You just want to have fun when you're a teenager. Then when you grow up you can decide to get married if you want.
K: You know, being a mom is a fun job, but you can also be other things, too!
W: Like a Mommy AND a bus driver?
K: Right! Or a mommy and a doctor, or a mommy and a singer, or a mommy and the President of the whole world!
W: I have to go to the bathroom.
